Indoor Kart Racing by Paul
Last October I started work for the Panelling Centre on Richmond Road, Fairview. While getting to grips with my new colleagues, their names, who the bosses were etc. I was working away when one of my new colleagues asked me would I like to go Karting with the job. I jumped at the chance, knowing it is great fun and this time it was going to be free.
The night got off to a flier, with the four of us on the grid together. Before we started the instructor briefed us on the rules. We had a race. Between the kart race and laughing it was very exciting and great fun. A computer pick four names for each race and everyone gets an equal go on the kart. Points are given to the winners of each race.
At the end of the night the last race is made up of the top five drivers. So I had a good night’s karting and the bonus of getting to know the lads from the Panelling Centre.
