Our Desert Island Discs

This term our Exploring History Class looked at podcasts as a way of learning about history. 

One podcast we listened to was called Desert Island Discs and it helped us to understand biographies and timelines.  

Desert Island Discs is a BBC Radio 4 programme and podcast. It has been broadcast since 1942.Each week a guest is asked to choose 8 pieces of music, a book and a luxury item they would bring with them if they were castaway on a desert island. Each piece explains a part of their life.

The class then undertook our own Desert Island Discs project and chose 3 pieces of music, a book and a luxury item that we would bring with us on a desert island.
