Anthony’s Granddaughter by Anthony McCausland

Her name is Robin. She arrived into my life and my world on the 3rd March 2018. She is just the most beautiful baby ever. In fact, everything about her is really gorgeous. My son expected me to shed a few tears when I first saw and held her in my arms but I didn’t. However, the smile on my face said it all. I’m still smiling. I cannot stop talking about her. I tell everyone about her beauty, everyone who will listen.

I was sixty in April. Robin’s birthday present to me was a photograph of herself smiling, her very first smile. I have her picture on my wall at home. I see that smile every day. I can’t wait to see her again. She lives in England. When I read these words I feel very emotional and I can now say, – yes, I’m shedding a tear now.
