Who Are We by Andrew
Are we a country or are we an island
Must we put nationality before personality?
Religion does not determine a man’s worth
It can only be determined by one’s self
Prove to others you are worth the time
And that your loves can be entwined
The men of violence say the guns are silent
Even the dogs on the street look for peace
Forgiveness of others, first we must forgive ourselves
To trust in others, we must trust in ourselves
Talk not at, listen to, not just what you want to hear
Look not only for what you can get out of it
All you have to do is open your narrow sights
We have the best chance to put things right
With no preconditions, no hidden agendas
As others have put their lives on hold
Is the end of the story ever to be told?
